Houston Office is Rocking
Literally! Hurricane Ike left its mark on Houston…including our Destination Services office, victim of high winds, power outage, and fierce rain. Throughout the past two weeks, the challenges to keep business running have been ever present, and we have truly lived up to our mantra by helping our clients arrive…survive…and thrive – with emphasis on the survive!
We are pleased to report that in spite of some damaged property and extreme shortages of power, food, and water, each of our employees, all of our consultants and advisors, and all of our clients have emerged as survivors. Hopefully, they will all be returning to some semblance of normalcy in the very near future…and, you can rest assured that Options Resource Careers is now battle-tested. Through the use of our technology and the willingness of our Houston staff to ride above the high winds, we have been able to keep everyone informed with accurate and timely updates…and our clients know that they can really count on us – even to the point of personally delivering food and water!
We hope you will all remember that there remains a huge need for food, water, and blood throughout the Houston area – as well as the widespread damaged areas as Ike continued his Northeasterly path. The Red Cross, Salvation Army, United Way, and many local agencies can really use everyone’s help, so we hope you will join us as active supporters of any of these agencies!
